The 2022 Back to Data Basics Webinar Series

If you are looking to improve your data skills, Back to Data Basics is a great opportunity to learn from our experts about how to access and utilize a variety of Census Bureau data products, tools, and resources.

Each webinar will give you foundational information and skills necessary to work with data from the Census Bureau. The series will offer 2-4 webinars every month until September 2022. All classes are free and open to the public. Registration is limited and will be available on a first-come first-served basis.

Not sure which Census Bureau data tool to use to get to the stats you need? Join this webinar to learn how to access frequently requested statistics using three of the U.S. Census Bureau’s top data tools: QuickFacts, data.census.gov, and Census Business Builder. This session will feature a brief presentation to introduce the tools and an online demonstration of data access within each tool. After the session, attendees will be able to locate the tools on www.census.gov and understand their uses, navigate within the tools to access basic data, and locate resources for independent learning, research, and data assistance.

Since 2010, the South Central Telehealth Resource Center (SCTRC) has been providing telehealth training and technical assistance. We offer a wide variety of services and resources to help develop, maintain, and expand telehealth services. While we strive to help anyone reaching out to us for assistance, we prioritize the needs of those who work with rural and other underserved communities and populations in our region — Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The SCTRC offers in-person and virtual assistance including on-site demos at our regional telehealth training centers, and popular online resources here such as billing and reimbursement guides, beginner courses, a variety of webinars and recordings, podcasts, and more. The SCTRC team is eager to hear more about your efforts and to brainstorm how we could work together to expand telehealth adoption.
