ARC to Award $13 Million to Create or Expand a Recovery Ecosystem in Appalachia

The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) is now accepting applications for The Investments Supporting Partnerships in Recovery Ecosystems (INSPIRE) Initiative, which addresses the substance use disorder (SUD) crisis. Successful projects will support the post-treatment to employment continuum, which could include investments in healthcare networks that support substance abuse recovery professionals, recovery-focused job training programs, as well as initiatives designed to coordinate, or link, recovery services and training that support the recovery ecosystem, among others.

Target Audience: Applicable to multiple subregions including some counties in TN and MS

Request for Proposals Open: January 17, 2023
Pre-Application Workshops: February 15, 2023
Letters of Intent Due: February 21, 2023
Applications Due: March 17, 2023

About SCTRC

Since 2010, the South Central Telehealth Resource Center (SCTRC) has been providing telehealth training and technical assistance. We offer a wide variety of services and resources to help develop, maintain, and expand telehealth services. While we strive to help anyone reaching out to us for assistance, we prioritize the needs of those who work with rural and other underserved communities and populations in our region — Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The SCTRC offers in-person and virtual assistance including on-site demos at our regional telehealth training centers, and popular online resources here such as billing and reimbursement guides, beginner courses, a variety of webinars and recordings, podcasts, and more. The SCTRC team is eager to hear more about your efforts and to brainstorm how we could work together to expand telehealth adoption.
