AWHONN Convention 2018

As the leading convention for women’s health, obstetric and neonatal nurses, the AWHONN Annual Convention helps to advance the nursing profession by providing nurses with critical information and support to help deliver the highest quality care for women and newborns.

The 2018 AWHONN Convention will take place in Tampa, Florida from June 23 – 27 at the Tampa Bay Convention Center.

WHY YOU NEED TO BE THERE

The AWHONN convention offers attendees opportunities to discover new ideas, strengthen their knowledge and expand their professional networks.  The convention features workshops, educational sessions and symposia that allow attendees to earn continuing nursing education contact hours.

The goal of the 2018 Convention is to ignite passion and empower nurses to transform care.

At the conclusion of the convention, learner will be able to:

  1. Cultivate strategies to maximize collaboration and partnerships
  2. Enhance the visibility and influence of the nursing profession
  3. Identify solutions to reduce health disparities and improve outcomes

About SCTRC

Since 2010, the South Central Telehealth Resource Center (SCTRC) has been providing telehealth training and technical assistance. We offer a wide variety of services and resources to help develop, maintain, and expand telehealth services. While we strive to help anyone reaching out to us for assistance, we prioritize the needs of those who work with rural and other underserved communities and populations in our region — Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The SCTRC offers in-person and virtual assistance including on-site demos at our regional telehealth training centers, and popular online resources here such as billing and reimbursement guides, beginner courses, a variety of webinars and recordings, podcasts, and more. The SCTRC team is eager to hear more about your efforts and to brainstorm how we could work together to expand telehealth adoption.
