Telehealth Policy Issues: Federal

New Federal Policy Module Saves the Day!

Perhaps the most misunderstood and feared telehealth topics are those relating to Policy. Eww, shudder, right? WRONG! Kick-back, get a bowl of popcorn and prepare to be rescued.

Across the country, we are fortunate to have national telehealth resource centers designed to help you find answers, learn, grow and maintain your telehealth programs. The South Central Telehealth Resource Center has recently had the great honor to collaborate with one such telehealth superhero, the Center for Connected Health Policy (CCHP). The goal was to produce a series of online learning modules about policy issues we face in the world of telehealth.   The latest module covers the Federal aspect of telehealth policy issues and includes topics like HIPAA, Stark Law, EHR-Meaningful Use and mHealth.  So here it is, the third and final module of the 3-part series: Telehealth Policy Issues: Federal.

Designed for any professional interested in learning more about the policy aspects of telehealth, these modules are available online, on your own schedule, and at no charge!  (Note: Continuing education credits are also available with a processing fee of $15.00 US per module.)

Note: To access the course, you will need to register with our new learning affilliate: LearnOnDemand. If you need help getting started, here is a quick guide to help you register.
