Healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, etc.) understand the important contribution good bedside manner makes during a patient consult. Good bedside manner results in better information exchange, greater patient confidence in treatment, and a better experience for the patient and the healthcare professional.  Using telehealth technology as part of your patient consult requires the same attention to detail as an in-person visit, with just a few extra considerations to ensure a positive experience for both patient and professional.

In this series of videos, we will learn the difference between a bad, good, and even better telehealth consult. While some of these demonstrations may seem humorous or “over the top”, all are based on actual patient scenarios.  As you watch, notice the difference between the Good, the Bad, and the downright Ugly.
