Highlights:

There have not been any significant payor updates within the last month, as the COVID-19 Federal Public Health Emergency (PHE) is continuing through January 16th, 2022.

Medicaid Arkansas’ COVID-19 telehealth flexibilities, per policy, ended December 31st, 2021.  However, upon e-mailing an Arkansas Medicaid Representative they stated they have not heard that the flexibilities will end.  We have requested an updated policy and will continue to monitor for updates.

CIGNA

  • Cost sharing for e-consults will apply effective January 1st, 2022

Arkansas Medicaid

  • Per the AR Medicaid’s COVID-19 telehealth flexibilities are set to end December 31st, 2021, including:
    • Originating Site Requirement Waiver
    • Professional Relationship Waiver
    • Parental Consultation Telehealth
    • Individual Therapy Services Telehealth
    • Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Telehealth
    • Virtual Check-Ins (G2012) Telehealth
    • Behavioral Health Telehealth
  • Have requested an updated telehealth policy
