DESCRIPTION:The Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center (MATRC) invites you to submit an abstract for poster presentation at the 2024 MATRC Telehealth Summit.  This year our MATRC Summit is In-Person only and we are requiring all accepted poster presentations be in-person. \nThis year’s summit will explore Telehealth: Reimagining Care Beyond the Unwinding of the PHE. As we rapidly approach a time where telehealth is fully integrated into all of healthcare\, we will be navigating the latest trends and best practices in telehealth implementation\, remote patient monitoring\, virtual consultations\, and AI-driven healthcare solutions.    \nThe following categories of topics are of interest to attendees; however\, abstracts are not limited to these topic areas: \n\nTelehealth Clinical Best Practices:  Primary and specialty care telehealth best practices related to implementation\, outcomes\, sustainability\, etc.\nTelehealth Policies and their Impact on Telehealth Practice/Innovation: Reimbursement/payment models\, licensing/credentialing\, privacy/security\, state regulations\, etc.\nTelehealth Grant and Pilot Programs:  Implementation\, lessons learned\, outcomes\, etc.\nTelehealth Education and Training:  Models\, outcomes and impacts of telehealth education and training for undergraduate\, graduate and post-graduate/continuing education for health professions\, to include the training and education of interns\, residents\, and fellows.\n\nAll submissions should describe original work.  You may submit work that has been previously presented.  The call is open to clinicians\, faculty\, health care administrators/professionals\, and students from all disciplines. \nWe will only be accepting one abstract per lead presenter per organization. The Great Plains Telehealth Resource & Assistance Center covers six states (Minnesota\, Wisconsin\, Iowa\, Nebraska\, and North & South Dakota) and is located at the University of Minnesota. The Heartland Telehealth Resource Center\, located at the University of Kansas Medical Center\, aims to increase adoption of telehealth in order to better serve rural and underserved residents in Kansas\, Missouri\, and Oklahoma. This is the second year these TRCs have co-hostd this conference to build partnerships across the greater Midwest region. All TRCs work to provide information and training for all aspects of telehealth with a focus on providers serving rural and underserved populations.

The broadband landscape in Appalachia is one that is ever evolving and remaining current on the resources\, challenges\, and opportunities is imperative to fostering growth\, affecting positive change\, and improving outcomes throughout the region. \nSESSION 1 – JUNE 18\, 2024\nBroadband as an Investment\nIn this first session of ARC’s Broadband Bootcamp 2.0\, Brian Vo of Connect Humanity\, a non-profit organization devoted to advancing digital equity across the Region\, gives us a crash-course in broadband economics by focusing on the idea of “Broadband as an Investment”. \nUpcoming Sessions \nSESSION 2 – JUNE 20\, 2024\nBroadband Data Today\nIn the second session of ARC’s Broadband Bootcamp 2.0\, we are joined by Jordan Pittman and Christine Parker of the Institute for Local Self-Reliance (ILSR)\, Nick Pappin of Washington State University (WSU)\, as well as by our guest moderator\, Alex Kelley of the Center of Rural Innovation (CORI)\, to take a closer look into “Broadband Data Today”. \nSESSION 3 – JUNE 25\, 2024\nNavigating Broadband for Communities with Differing Resources and Capacity\nIn session three\, Jordan Pittman of the Institute of Local Self-Reliance (ILSR) and Alex Kelley of the Center of Rural Innovation (CORI) are joined by Christopher Mitchell\, also of the ISLR\, to discuss “Navigating Broadband for Communities with Differing Resources and Capacities”. \nSESSION 4 – JUNE 27\, 2024\nBuilding Great Digital Equity Programs using the Digital Navigator Model\nSession four of ARC’s Broadband Bootcamp 2.0 focuses on yet another set of key components related to broadband access and digital equity – user knowledge\, skill\, opportunity\, and ability.
