DESCRIPTION:UAMS BioVentures invites you to Innovation Week\, May 12-15\, 2025.  Designed to showcase innovation\, foster industry connections and highlight the pathway from research to commercialization\, Innovation Week offers opportunities for everyone from seasoned inventors and those just starting out.  \nWhether you’re an entrepreneur\, inventor\, researcher or industry partner\, Innovation Week is your chance to engage with the thriving healthcare innovation ecosystem at UAMS and beyond.  \n  \nInnovation Week Highlights  \n·        Meet & Greet – 8-10 a.m. Monday\, May 12\, in the Biomed I Atrium – Kick off the week with coffee\, donuts and conversations with the BioVentures team.  \n·        Inventors Lunch & Award Ceremony – 11:30 a.m. Tuesday\, May 13\, in I. Dodd Wilson Room 115A/B – Celebrate UAMS innovators and their impact on healthcare. Lunch will be provided for honorees and registrants (register here).  \n·        “Raising Capital for Your Startup Endeavors” – Noon Wednesday\, May 14\, in the Cancer Institute\, Strauss McCaskill Learning Center – Learn from Michael Geranen\, BioVentures technology manager\, about strategies for securing startup funding.  \n·        Industry-Research Forum – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday\, May 15\, in the I. Dodd Wilson Building – Connect with industry representatives\, regulatory experts and UAMS researchers who have successfully partnered with companies. Participate in a virtual panel with leaders from top pharmaceutical and venture capital firms.  \n·        Networking Scavenger Hunt – May 12-15: Engage with key players\, complete challenges and earn prizes while making valuable connections.
