SUMMARY:Telemental Health & State Medicaid Policies
DESCRIPTION:The importance of\, and ability to\, access to mental health services has increased exponentially over the course of the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE). Medicaid agencies have seen a rapid increase in utilization for telemental health services and these services were the most common type of service during the pandemic. This makes behavioral health services via telehealth a promising area of post-PHE telehealth policy.
