Dr. John McCarter, MD from the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) will lead the discussion. His talk is titled, “Utilizing Telemedicine to Expand Emergency Care in Rural Mississippi.”

UMMC has become a leader in Tele-Emergency led by Dr. Robert Galli, MD. The program has recently had more success with its director, Dr. Kristi Henderson, DNP being named to the American Telemedicine Association’s Institutional Council Executive Committee.
