Episode 5 features special guest, Michael Manley. Mr. Manley is the Director of Outreach for the Center for Distance Health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and the Director of Arkansas SAVES. Mr. Manley discusses the 7-year-old Arkansas SAVES program, which has 48 participating sites across the state. He defines components that have led to the success of the program, such as patient-focused program implementation; community education; and how an Arkansas SAVES team is created.

Podcast host Sarah Rhoads, PhD, DNP, APRN, serves as the Education Director for the Center for Distance Health, and as an Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Podcast host, Delbert McCutchen, BSN, RN/NRAEMT, serves as the Clinical Nurse Supervisor for the AR SAVES Telestroke Program.

Since 2010, the South Central Telehealth Resource Center (SCTRC) has been providing telehealth training and technical assistance. We offer a wide variety of services and resources to help develop, maintain, and expand telehealth services. While we strive to help anyone reaching out to us for assistance, we prioritize the needs of those who work with rural and other underserved communities and populations in our region — Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The SCTRC offers in-person and virtual assistance including on-site demos at our regional telehealth training centers, and popular online resources here such as billing and reimbursement guides, beginner courses, a variety of webinars and recordings, podcasts, and more.
